Is there something we are not being told about what’s happening at Fukushima or does our Military have other for-knowledge of another impending nuclear disaster?
It was announced on the FedBizOpps.gov government website that the Defense Logistics Agency was seeking a contract for the supply of 75,000 Potassium Iodide Tablets, USP,130 MG, Potassium Iodide, Individually Sealed in Foil Wrap, 14s. A total cost of $392,250.00.
They mentioned that they were concerned about their forces being protected in the event of a nuclear fallout and that the recent the Fukushima nuclear crisis has renewed interest in this item.
The contracting officer Tina Ballezzi said, “The use of this authority is necessary because the USAMMA has submitted a MILSTRP for this item to ensure that critical operational forces are protected in the event of nuclear fallout. The recent earthquake in Japan in March of 2011 and the resultant nuclear crisis has renewed interest in this item.”
The Japanese Government had recently created plans on how to go about evacuating Tokyo’s 39 million residents in the event of a total meltdown of Fukushima’s fourth reactor which actually holds about 3/4 of the entire Chernobyl complex did when it suffered meltdown.
Takao Yamada, a news editor from the Mainichi Daily News said “The worse-case scenario drawn up by the government includes not only the collapse of the No. 4 reactor pool, but the disintegration of spent fuel rods from all the plant’s other reactors. If this were to happen, residents in the Tokyo metropolitan area would be forced to evacuate.”
The meltdown of reactor 4 would “Certainly cause a global catastrophe like we have never before experienced,” warned Diplomat Akio Matsumura. Akio mentioned that the 11,138 spent fuel assemblies stored at the plant contain 134 million curies of Cesium-137 which is about 85r times greater than the amount of Cs-137 that was released at Chernobyl.
Matsumura claimed the resulting fallout “would destroy the world environment and our civilization.”
Other possibilities for the military seeking to stock up on anti-radiation pills could be related to the potential strikes on Iranian nuclear power plants which may also create mega disasters resulting in nuclear fallout.
For whatever reason they’re doing this, one thing is clear, they know something that we don’t and also yet another important thing that you won’t see on mainstream media.
