We now know why the Secret Service agents were suspended. It’s actually very amusing but at the same time it’s quite disgraceful for both the Obama Administration and our Country as a whole.
In advance of Barak Obama’s arrival in Cartagena, Columbia, two of the agents from the counter assault team secret service, had got into a dispute with a local hooker. The dispute was about a simple little $50. Can you believe it? American’s elite law enforcement agents who work with the President on a regular basis are so cheap that they have to dispute the cost of the hooker they hired for a difference of just fifty dollars.
According to NBC News, the agents and servicemen who were suspended were not all involved in the dispute with the hooker, however, they did attend the strip club and following that they did all procure hookers. So as turns out the entire team was hiring prostitutes.
Apparently the two agents who were involved in the dispute had assumed that if they paired up together the hooker would treat them as a single individual and thus they would only have to pay the hooker for the cost of servicing one. The hooker argued with them claiming that they each had to pay the cost for her servicing each of them. NBC News never explained what provoked the two agents to make that assumption. Perhaps they were short on cash or just trying to be cheap!
As the dispute continued at some point the woman ended up calling the local police who then responded. Police banged and knocked on the door but the agents refused to answer. It was unclear how everything settled but it appeared that the Police or the agents had contacted the U.S. Embassy because embassy officials arrived on the scene.
Following the arrival of the Embassy officials they had contacted the Secret Service Director Mark Sullivan who immediately ordered the agents to fly home.
It makes you wonder how safe the President really is if he has jokes like this as his protector. The Secret Service described the agents conduct as a security breach and I would have to agree 100%.
Just think if the hooker was spying for the Taliban or if they somehow drugged the agents with something that could have affected their capabilities. There are dozens of different types of possibilities of how the agents could have been compromised including things like intimidation, threats, drugs, money, and more.
What’s even worse is that if it wasn’t for the cheapness of those two agents this whole incident would have gone unnoticed. Makes me wonder how many other agents behave in this manner. It’s also probable that the incident exposed a weak spot in the security of the Secret Service operations and possibly even sparked a few ideas in the minds of terrorists all around the world.
